Already, as desperate as ever for every Laker (player and fans alike), Bryant expressed his thought on his probably soon partner that ‘it wouldn’t hurt’ to play side-by-side with the gun-slinging agent, Gilbert Arenas.
“Sure, it certainly wouldn’t hurt, that’s for sure.”, Bryant said.
Should they get Arenas and Coach Brown can work something out, this is a positive thing for the Lakers-considering the slump they’re on right now. With the Lakers leading the league in rebounds with at least 45 RPG. 4th in block with little above 5 BPG. Defensively, the Lakers are not struggling, the offense is. They are 3-0 when pouring out scores above 100 points, but struggles to fire back against the other team when the opponent scores 100+ points. That’s 4 loses and just a win.
With Arenas’ averaged 8+ PPG , 2+ APG and add that to 92.71 PPG of Lakers this season. Do the math, that’s 100 points for the instant offense that Gilbert could potentially give. And note, they are yet to lose when scoring 100 or more points.
Defense, given. Arenas plus one more fire fueled off the bench (say Blake or Barnes or another free agent), we’ll take that heat from home or on the road. Maybe finally, the agent will get his revenge from the crab-walk he went through the past years.
That’s just me anyways, what do you think?

Hey, like the writing, but I dislike the Arenas on a team idea, just seems like it would cause issues in a locker room that seems to be fracturing already.

I was just trying to be optimistic should the Lakers sign him up
